"The Beauty of Yoga & the Desert"
September 26-30, 2012 Ghost Ranch Abiquiu, NM
Ghost Ranch is an enchanting place of ancient rock formations set under a brilliant blue sky, nestled in the high desert of northern New Mexico, where inspiration and creativity are boundless. Located in Abiquiu, NM Ghost Ranch offers 21,000 acres to withdraw from the over stimulation of our media centric lives. On retreat we have an opportunity to let things inside us brew a little bit while practicing lots of yoga, hiking among the canyons, mountains & red rocks, creating our own pottery with a guest potter, participating in a spirit circle with a shaman, listening to live music, taking a day trip, shop at the Ghost Ranch Friday evening Mercado, eating freshly prepared food, receiving bodywork, taking a guided Georgia O'Keefe tour, walking in the zen garden, painting, meditating, wine sampling, laughing with friends, resting, reading and learning more about this sacred land and place where Georgia O'Keefe made her home for much of her life.

When we become open to practicing ways of accepting our world, of living with the question, powerful things happen. Shifting begins when we view this "ever-questioning" dynamic of our human condition as part of our well-being, as opposed to something that stands in its way. We can open our consciousness by understanding this reality, create ways to integrate healthy practices thus turning wisdom into joy. Jane Reeves offers a yoga and meditation practice that helps us reach this understanding with our bodies, our minds and our spirits. Her style, energy and message as she guides students through yoga and meditation, leads us to a way of thinking where we embrace our challenges as our assets, our questions as our answers.
